Our History
Pregnancy Resource Centers, formerly known as, Pregnancy Testing Centers was founded in February of 1989 by Frank & Tere Painter. The Painters were local entrepreneurs with a vision to help women and families facing unplanned pregnancies through a caring and compassionate heart.

First Steps: Prenatal Support
Pregnancy Resource Centers offers a compassionate starting point for women facing unplanned pregnancies. We provide essential services guiding you through the crucial initial stages of your prenatal journey. Our goal is to empower you with information and support from the very beginning, ensuring a healthy path forward.
Pregnancy Tests
Receive free and confidential pregnancy testing in a safe and supportive environment. Our trained staff is here to answer your questions and provide compassionate guidance.
Pregnancy Verification Forms
We provide pregnancy verification forms, which can be used for various purposes, such as insurance or assistance programs. Please ask our staff for more information.
Ultrasound Referrals
While we do not provide ultrasounds on-site, we can provide referrals to trusted medical facilities where you can receive an ultrasound. Our team can help connect you with these resources.
Mama & Me : Resource Hub
Pregnancy Resource Centers provide vital support for new and expecting parents. Families can access essential maternity supplies and a well-stocked Mama & Me Pantry, ensuring that both mom and baby are lovingly provided for with everything from diapers and formula to postpartum essentials.
Maternity Supplies
We offer a range of maternity supplies to help you prepare for your baby's arrival and support you in the postpartum period. Our supplies include clothing, hygiene products, and nursing items.
Baby Pantry
Our baby pantry is stocked with essential items such as diapers, wipes, formula, and clothing to help you care for your baby. We're here to provide support during this important time.
Our Educational Classes
LIFE Mentorship Programs
Our LIFE Mentorship program provides essential educational tools to equip new and expecting moms for their journey into parenthood. Through group classes, one-on-one mentorship, and practical guidance, we ensure you have the support and knowledge needed to confidently navigate this new chapter. We are proud to partner with trained registered nurses who lead our monthly classes, giving you access to professional, nurturing guidance every step of the way.
Lactation Support
We are proud to announce an upcoming class hosted by Blooming with Grace Lactation designed for moms who are struggling with breastfeeding. This session will provide nurturing guidance, practical tips, and a supportive community to help you navigate your breastfeeding journey with confidence. Join us on September 20th to receive the expert support you need. The time for the class will be announced soon. Stay tuned for details on the time!
Pregnancy Classes
Our classes, led by Nurse-Family Partnership trained registered nurses, will cover a variety of crucial topics related to your baby's development and life. You'll learn about important developmental milestones, essential baby care, and how to create a nurturing environment that supports your baby's growth and well-being.
Home Visits
If you are a first-time mother, less than 28 weeks pregnant, and eligible for Medicaid or WIC, you may qualify for free home-visit services from Nurse-Family Partnership trained registered nurses. These services provide guidance on prenatal care, parenting, and baby development, offering a great start for both you and your baby. Visit our center for more information and to see if you are eligible for this program.

The Dad's Journey: Men's Support (Launching Soon)
This group or one-on-one mentorship is a no-judgment zone for men stepping into or navigating the profound journey of fatherhood. Whether you're a new dad feeling lost in the playbook, or simply seeking to sharpen your skills and confidently lead your family, this is your space. Connect with other men who get it, share your challenges, and gain the insight and support to become the intentional father you're called to be. Join us to build stronger families and legacies.
The Healing Journey (Launching Soon)
This compassionate support program at Pregnancy Resource Centers offers a safe and understanding space for individuals and families seeking healing from the profound pain of past abortions, infant loss/miscarriages, and/or abuse. You can find solace and connection through either a supportive group setting or personalized one-on-one sessions. Join us to find hope and rediscover peace on your journey to wholeness.
